brief introduction
Originated from the Khitan nationality, from Luye Saha, the king of Room B of the Northern Courtyard of Liao Dynasty, belonging to the ancestor's surname. Saha, the king of the second house, was a relative of Liao during the Song and Liao Wars after Song Taizu and Zhao Kuangyin destroyed the Northern Han Dynasty. During the reign of Emperor Xianzong of Liao Dynasty, Lu Ye was subordinate to Wang Luye's Xiuge, the North Courtyard, and was mainly responsible for garrisoning troops to defend Nanjing Youzhou of Liao country (now Hebei and northern Liaoning, where he ruled in Jixian County, now Beijing Guang 'anmen area).
In May 978 AD, during the first large-scale war in Song and Liao Dynasties, Lu Ye Saha, under the command of Lu Ye Hugh, was attacked from both inside and outside, causing and leading hundreds of thousands of defeats. The Northern Song Dynasty attacked Liao for the first time in an attempt to "recover sixteen states" and ended in failure.
