Why do some people deliberately avoid their names?

It is mainly caused by some people's severe inferiority complex. There are generally two reasons for behavior like this:

First, you think your name is rather rustic, and it obviously has a tacky meaning assigned to you by your parents, and you are embarrassed to say it out. I once wanted to change my name, but since I am an adult, changing my name would involve many complicated procedures, so I did not want to tell others my name for fear of causing ridicule.

2. I don’t want to get along with people for a long time. I just keep nodding and greeting people when they meet. Therefore, I don't want to reveal my true identity, as it would be easy for others to find out, for fear of causing unnecessary trouble.
