The distribution of coal resources in my country is uneven. Mainly distributed in Shanxi, Shaanxi, Inner Mongolia, Gansu, Ningxia, Xinjiang, Guizhou and other provinces (regions), most of them are areas with underdeveloped industrial economy. Guangdong, Shanghai, Zhejiang and other regions with developed industries and economies that have a large demand for coal have very poor coal resources. Therefore, coal transportation distances are long and they mainly rely on railway and road transportation, making external transportation conditions more difficult.
The geology and mining conditions of existing mines in my country are diverse, and there are various types of coal fields. Except for a few state-owned local coal mines with good geological mining conditions, most of them have moderate to abnormal conditions. Among the former state-owned key coal mines, some mines with good conditions include Datong, Yanzhou, Shenfu and other mining areas. Their coal seams have superior conditions, simple structures, stable coal seams, small inclination angles, thick coal seams or thick coal in the upper part; the conditions are better. These include some coal mines in Kailuan, Xuzhou, Hegang and other mining areas.
