There are thousands of streets and alleys in Beijing. Street names involve people, and some are named after official positions. These three heroes are all famous anti-Japanese soldiers who died for their country, and they were all Feng Yuxiang's subordinates in their early years. During his tenure as General 29 army, 29 army has lived in Beijing since 1934 was stationed in Beijing and Tianjin.
Zhang Zizhong, a native of Linqing County, Shandong Province, was then the teacher of 29 army 38th Division. He was the mayor of Tianjin during the July 7th Incident.

Unwilling to deal with the enemy and puppet troops in occupied Peiping, he abandoned his post and sneaked into Tianjin in September of that year, turned around and went south, leading 59 troops to participate in the "Taierzhuang War". Later, due to outstanding achievements in the war of resistance against Japan, he was promoted to the general of the 33 rd Army and served as the commander-in-chief of the right wing corps in the fifth theater.
1940 16 in may, Zhang Zizhong was shot six times in the "zaoyi battle" in Hubei, and died in the Shili Changshan battlefield in the pumpkin shop in Hubei. Zhang Zizhong was the highest-ranking general who died in the front line of China's Anti-Japanese War.
Today, in Zhang Zizhong's former residence in Fu You Street, there is also a Zhang Zizhong monument engraved with Zhou Enlai's eulogy: "His loyalty and heroism can be the soul of China's anti-Japanese soldiers."
The Iron Lion Hutong was named after Tian Hong, the father of Tian Guifei, who was favored by Emperor Chongzhen of the Ming Dynasty, met a pair of iron lions in front of the Governor's House. At that time, the municipal office announced that this street was a "secondary street, with a width of 10 meter."
These three street names named after anti-Japanese heroes have been used since liberation. During the Cultural Revolution, the access road was renamed Sixin Road, Zhaolu Road was renamed Zhonghua Road, and Zhang Zizhong Road was renamed East Street of Workers, Peasants and Soldiers. After the Cultural Revolution, the Beijing Municipal Government decided to restore its original name in June1984+1October.

Zhang Zizhong Road in Beijing belongs to the Jiaodaokou area in Dongcheng District, Beijing, and is a section of "Ping 'an Street". It starts from the west end of East 40th Street in the east and ends at the east end of Di 'anmen East Street in the west, with a total length of more than 700 meters.
