1968, in order to realize Arroyo's ideal, Arroyo's disciples established an international city beyond the country and the nation in the suburbs of local governance, and accepted followers of Arroyo's thought from all over the world. This international city named "Oroville" is a combination of Arroyo's name (Honore) and the French noun "Village", which can be translated as "Arroyo New Village" or "Arroyo New Town". The city was founded according to the theory of "human unity" and "world harmony" of Arrow. Its sacred purpose is: "Oroville will become a world city, where men and women of all countries can transcend all beliefs, politics and nationalities and live in peace, progress and harmony. Oroville's goal is to achieve human unity. " (Oroville-the realization of a dream, edited by G. Alan, India: local governance, 1992, p. 20).
1968 On February 28th, more than 8,000 representatives from 128 countries and regions and 23 Indian states attended the groundbreaking ceremony in Oroville. The groundbreaking ceremony was very grand. Each country or region sends a pair of young men and women, holding the national flag of their own country or region, holding a handful of soil brought from their own country and putting it into a marble stone jar with a height of 2 meters. This stone pot symbolizes the unity of mankind and the connection between Oroville and the rest of the world. There is a huge spherical building in the center of Oroville, with a diameter of 36 meters, called "Mother Temple". There are 12 "meditation halls" around the mother temple for people to practice yoga, and 12 square gardens extend outward from the back of the main hall. The whole city is divided into four districts: international district, industrial district, cultural district and residential district. Oro New Town has also established an information center, with working groups in nine countries including the United States, Canada, Britain, Germany, France, Italy, Spain and Switzerland. And run a newspaper, called "Oroville Today", which is distributed at home and abroad. According to the design, the new city can accommodate 50,000 residents after completion. By the early 1990s, the new town had 1000 residents from 22 countries, including people from France, Germany, the United States, Britain and other countries 18. Here, they follow Arondeau's teaching, practice holistic yoga, overcome selfish desires in work and life, purify their souls, awaken their inner spiritual essence, and realize the overall spiritual transformation.
Oroville and Arrowhead Monastery are both experimental sites for arrowhead theory and thought. If anything, Alopodo Monastery focuses on shaping new people and new lifestyles through holistic yoga and individual spiritualization, while Oro New Town not only emphasizes shaping new people and new lifestyles, but also creates a new society that transcends all countries and all ethnic groups and finally realizes the ideal of human unity.
