Dharma title or Dharma name refers to the name specially chosen by those who convert to Buddhism. It has its own independent system and is a title awarded by the master. This cannot be done randomly, especially do not give yourself a Dharma name or a Dharma name.
Each major monastery or sect has different generations, usually marked by the first character of the name of the Dharma. In other words, the meaning of the first character in the Dharma's name only represents which generation he is from. For example, assuming that the seniority is "Sudden Enlightenment of the Void" (①Dunwu②Wu③Xu④Kong), if you are of the "Enlightenment" generation, Master can name you "Wu Jing"; if you are of the "Xu" generation, Master can name you "Xu Zhu".
