Taoism and the study of science and technology culture. Taoism not only has a far-reaching influence in the history of China's thoughts, but also permeates many fields of science, technology and culture, and is closely concerned by western sinologists. The center focuses on the relationship between Taoism and science and technology culture, especially the relationship between Taoism and medical health preservation, and explores its modern value. A study on the relationship between Taoism and Fujian studies. The so-called Fujian study is a Taoist school with Confucianism as the main stem and Zhu School as the core, which integrates many contents of Buddhism and Taoism. The center tries to explore the philosophy of mind contained in Zhuzi's studies, and thus extends to the whole scope of Fujian studies, investigates the close relationship between the occurrence and development of Fujian studies and Buddhist and Taoist cultures, and pays attention to the comparative study of Chinese and Western cultures. Taoism and folk culture research. Both Taoist culture and Fujian culture, represented by Zhu, are deeply infiltrated into traditional family education and architectural customs. From northern Fujian to southern Fujian, from genealogy to genre, the imprint of Taoism can be found. In modern life, the influence of Taoism still exists. It can be said that the whole folk culture is full of Taoist blood. The great influence of Taoism can also be seen in the concepts and customs of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan and overseas Chinese. Therefore, the center attaches importance to the related research of Taoism and folk culture. 1997-2003, with the support of Taiwan Province Zhonghua Avenue Cultural Undertaking Co., Ltd. and under the overall planning of President Lai Zongxian, the 12 series of Taoist cultural research academic magazine "Daoyun" was published.
