Linxi county is located in the north of Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia, between east longitude117 38 ′-16 438+08 37 ′, and north latitude 4314 ′-4415 ′. The total area of the county is 3933 square kilometers, and Linxi Town, the county seat, is located in the middle of the county seat, 2 10 kilometers away from Chifeng city. Ji (Ning) Tong (Liao) Railway, National Highway 305 and Provincial Highway 303 meet here, with convenient transportation. It has been an important town in Saibei since ancient times.
Five thousand years ago in the Neolithic Age, there were human activities in Linxi area. Guopengzi Mountain in the south of the county seat is a famous Neolithic cultural site in China. From the Spring and Autumn Period, Qin and Han Dynasties to the Wei, Jin, Southern and Northern Dynasties, it was once the activity area of ancient ethnic minorities such as Donghu, Xiongnu, Xianbei, Qidan, Nuzhen and Mongolia. Historic sites are spread all over the country. The famous ones are the Governor's Mansion in the late Tang and Song Dynasties (built in Liao Dynasty to build Raozhou) and the border ditch in Phnom Penh. The county now governs 7 towns, 1 township. 106 administrative villages and 7 communities.
Geological river. Linxi county is a middle-low mountainous area, and the mountains in the territory are branches of Daxinganling, with the highest elevation of 1 879.2m and the lowest elevation of 670m m. The terrain is high in the northwest and low in the southeast, and the water flow between the mountains and Pingchuan is mostly gentle, showing the landform characteristics of continuous mountains and winding valleys.

There are 53 kinds of wild animals, including more than 20 kinds of mammals and more than 20 kinds of wild birds.
