The Book of Changes is the theoretical source of natural philosophy and humanistic practice in China's traditional ideology and culture. It is the crystallization of the thoughts and wisdom of the ancient Han nationality and is known as the "source of the road". It is a study of ancient emperors and a compulsory skill for politicians, strategists and businessmen. The Book of Changes is an outstanding representative of Chinese traditional culture. Vast, subtle and all-encompassing, it is also the source of Chinese civilization.
I ching preaching. Laozi, the originator of Taoism, was the earliest and most systematic person who talked about Taoism. Dialectics originated from the Book of Changes and stood in Laozi. Mr. Chen Guying pointed out: "Laozi discovered the development law of all things from the opposition of things, thus establishing the first systematic dialectics in the history of China's philosophy-it originated from the Book of Changes, and the establishment of the system was completed in Laozi"; The Book of Changes is called Juexue. During the Wei and Jin Dynasties, Taoist Wang Bi explained the Book of Changes with Lao Zi and Zhuang Zi, and the modern version of the Book of Changes was Wang Bi's. "Wang Bi started from the school of ancient Chinese classics in the Han Dynasty, and he learned Taoism easily, emphasizing righteousness and reason."
Since ancient times, people have different opinions on the nature of the Book of Changes.
(1) divination book. The Book of Changes specifically introduces the divination method of Dayan numbers. There are many good and bad words in divination, and there is a spell that says very clearly: "Being close is fierce, being close is harmful, and regretting is stingy." It is generally believed that the Book of Changes was saved from the Qin fire because it is a divination book. Song Zhuxi's The Original Meaning of Zhouyi, Guo Moruo's A Study of Ancient China Society, Zhu and Li's Exploration of Zhouyi all hold this view.
(2) Philosophy books. Zhuangzi believes that "Yi" can connect Yin and Yang. "Yin and Yang is the basic problem of China's philosophy. Some scholars believe that Zhouyi is China's oldest and most systematic philosophical work. " Yi Guan, dialectical materialism; Easy to become a law, materialist dialectics. "(Zhong Zhishuai), I Ching is ancient naive materialism's philosophy, its world outlook is dialectical materialism, and its methodology is materialist dialectics.
(3) history books. Tell the history of human evolution and development. (Zhang Taiyan's Book of Changes) Gan Kun's two hexagrams are an introduction. The existing theories are Ji Ji and Wei Ji. From the beginning to the departure of Jimi, it is the history from the grass age to the late Yin Dynasty, and from salty Jimi to small Jimi, it is the history of the early Zhou Dynasty. "(Hu Pu 'an's View on the Ancient History of Zhouyi) Another scholar may think that Zhouyi is the history of Shang and Zhou Dynasties. Or thought it was the history of handmaiden uprising, or thought it was a special history book written with homophonic hidden body and divination appearance.
(4) forecast. The Book of Changes uses three systems (ego, external factors of others, astronomical trends) and upper and lower systems (the development of things) to make predictions, and uses each rhetoric to highly summarize the current situation at a certain stage. Call Zhenbu. Confucius predicted that Chinese civilization could be passed down for at least three thousand years, and the result came true. This prediction can be seen in The Analects of Confucius.
(5) behavior. I ching believes that people's behavior should conform to the law. It is put forward that a gentleman should "follow the trend", that is, act according to objective laws, and at the same time, "the movers are still changing", and he should also improvise and seek advantages and avoid disadvantages. A gentleman should "restore" his ideas and sum up experiences and lessons at any time.
(6) There are others, which are called "Cosmic Algebra" by some people in modern times for different reasons.
