1, Xinfengjiang Reservoir

Xinfengjiang Reservoir, also known as Lvwan Lake, is the largest lake in southern China and the largest eco-tourism scenic spot in southern China. The lake covers an area of 370 square kilometers and the reservoir capacity is 65.438+0.398 billion cubic meters. It got its name because it is green all year round. Lvwan Lake was formed during the construction of Xinfengjiang Hydropower Station 1958. The dam was built to store water at Yapo Gorge in the lower reaches of Xinfengjiang River, only 6 kilometers away from Heyuan City, Guangdong Province.

2. Feilaixia Water Control Project

Feilaixia Water Control Project is located in Qingyuan City, the main stream of Beijiang River. The dam site controls the drainage area of 34,097 square kilometers, accounting for 73% of the Beijiang River drainage area. It is a large I-type water control project with comprehensive benefits such as flood control, power generation and improvement of ecological environment. It is also a key project for comprehensive management, development and utilization of Beijiang River Basin. The hub consists of overflow dam, earth dam, ship lock, power station and auxiliary dam.

3. Tang Yi Reservoir in Meizhou City

Tang Yi Reservoir was built on 1974 in the northwest of Wuhua County in Wuhua River Basin. Its catchment area is 38 square kilometers and its total storage capacity is 65438+65 million cubic meters. The main submerged areas in the reservoir area are Ledao Village, Tang Zheng Village, Liaotang Village and Shang Wei Village in Tanxia Town. Because the reservoir is located in the middle of Wuhua County, it cuts off the direct traffic lines of Wuhua East, South, West and North, which has a great impact on Wuhua's economic development.

4. Lechang Gorge Water Control Project

Lechangxia Water Control Project is the key project of water conservancy construction in Guangdong Province, focusing on flood control and combining with power generation to improve the comprehensive utilization of downstream irrigation, shipping and water supply. Lechang Gorge is located in Lechang, a tributary of Beijiang River. Wujiang River originates from Sanfengling, Linwu County, Hunan Province, runs through the north and south of Lechang, and is 196 km long in Lechang.

5. Fengshuba Reservoir

Fengshuba Reservoir is located in the upper reaches of Dongjiang River in Fengshuba Town, Longchuan County, Heyuan City, Guangdong Province, China. It is a comprehensive reservoir integrating flood control, power generation and water supply. The dam height of the reservoir is 9 1.5m, and the crest length is 4 18m, so it is a hollow gravity dam. With a total storage capacity of 65.438+0.94 billion cubic meters and a controlled drainage area of 565.438+0.50 square kilometers, it is the second largest artificial lake in Guangdong.

Liuxihe reservoir, also known as Che Xiao Reservoir, is located in the canyon 1.3 km below Che Xiao Village, Liangkou, Conghua District, Guangzhou City, China Province. It is one of the larger reservoirs in Guangdong Province, and it is a water conservancy project for comprehensive utilization of flood control, irrigation, power generation, aquaculture and tourism.

7. Hedi Reservoir

Hedi Reservoir is located in the north of Leizhou Peninsula. It spans Luchuan County and Bobai County of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and is located in the middle reaches of Jiuzhou River. Baipenzhu Reservoir is located 34 kilometers northeast of Huidong County, upstream of Xizhijiang River, a tributary of Dongjiang River. The original place is called Bai. Because the reservoir area looks like a basin, it was renamed as Baipenzhu. 1985 completed in August. The catchment area is 856 square kilometers, and the maximum flood control storage capacity is 65.438+0.22 billion cubic meters.

9. Jinjiang Reservoir (Renhua County)

Shaoguan Jinjiang Reservoir is located at the foot of Danxia Mountain in Shaoguan World Geopark, Guangdong Province. This is a big reservoir. Jinjiang Reservoir is surrounded by mountains on both sides of a river, with high forest coverage and good water ecological environment. Danxiayuan Water Conservancy Scenic Area, a national water conservancy scenic spot, relies on the cascade hydropower project of Jinjiang Reservoir to improve the irrigation capacity of farmland on both sides of the river and protect downstream counties and coastal areas from floods.
