Names and functions of various parts of filters in junior middle school chemistry.

Filter is the general name of a whole set of filtering devices. Therefore, the filter is not an experimental device, but a group of experimental devices. Often used for solid-liquid separation or washing precipitation.

The filter consists of an iron frame with an iron ring, a funnel, a glass rod and a beaker.

Function:

1. Iron platform with iron ring: fix the funnel (main) and adjust the height (times).

2. Funnel: filter paper is placed and filtered (filter paper is not equipment, but consumables).

3. Glass rod: drainage

4. beaker: hold filtrate

Remember "one post, two lows and three inclinations" when filtering.

Soak the filter paper with distilled water before filtering.

I hope it works for you!
