Constellation Science: What does the inverse shadow period mean?

The reversal of water is not that Mercury is really going backwards, but because Mercury revolves around the sun like the Earth, but when the orbit direction of Mercury is different from that of the Earth, seeing Mercury on the Earth will produce the visual effect that Mercury is going backwards.

The shadow period of water inversion is the period when Mercury begins to slow down before water inversion and accelerate after water inversion. It takes about half a month to slow down and accelerate, which is why some students feel unlucky in recent days, such as mobile phone failure, uncoordinated computers, or inconvenient transportation.
