Since ancient times, people have thought it is a dense cluster. Galileo first outlined the star clusters with a telescope, but these stars are too dark for us to see with the naked eye. Charles Messier recorded the location of this cluster and listed it as the 45th object in the famous messier objects list. In Greek mythology, the Pleiades is the seven daughters of Atlas, the titan god, and the unicorn, the sea fairy. Their parents' names are included in the nine brightest stars in the cluster. This deep and wide telescope image covers more than 20 light-years in the Pleiades cluster.
