What is the visual composition of stars at different distances in the sky?

This should be a constellation. But it doesn't seem to be all right, because the constellation is artificially divided into areas of different shapes and sizes, and some of the stars will form an imaginary visual composition.

For example, in Ursa Major, seven bright stars form a spoon with a handle, which we call the "Big Dipper". Lyra consists of a bright star and four small stars near it. Four little stars are imagined by China people as a shuttle for weaving, and that bright star is Vega. The same four little stars are imagined by westerners as harps, so they are called Lyra.
