What is a collision?

In the five-element diagram, if two elements in the five elements are at the position of 180 degrees, it is called "collision". One of the conflicts is the earthly branch: Zi and Wu, Ugliness and Wei, Yin and Shen, Mao and You, Chen and Xu, Si and Hai. The other is heavenly stems: A and G, B and Xin, C and nonyl, D and decyl, E and A, G and B, G and C, Xin and D, Nonyl and E, decyl and myself.

Collision refers to the opposition of two elements with completely different properties in the five elements. When the astrolabe collides, this person's thoughts and behaviors show inner contradictions, complicated and unstable emotions, indecision and uncertain direction, which may lead to confusion and unsatisfactory results of external events. According to traditional numerology, the appearance of "bump" is a sign of "bad" (some people say it is "unfavorable").

The principle that Yin-Yang and Five Elements come down in one continuous line tells us that everything has two sides, and binary opposites such as good and bad, good and evil, right and wrong are all contained in a higher spiritual realm. This truth just inspires us: the phenomenon of "collision" or contradiction and conflict in each of our lives (as well as the bad position and angle of other five elements) is the time for us to observe, reflect, hone and surpass. Because there is chaos and instability, we will seek clarity, balance and liberation. Therefore, from this perspective, when someone hears and laments that his life is bitter and bad, it is also a precious moment for him to expand his life and enhance his meaning.
