Chen Huacheng. Chen Gong Temple was originally located at the bottom of Xita Nongdi, Songjiang District, Shanghai, at the bottom of 1999. Due to the reconstruction of Zhongshan No.2 Road, Chengong Temple in Songjiang, Shanghai, with the approval of Shanghai Cultural Relics Management Committee, the ancestral hall was moved to Shanghai Fangta Garden as it was, and was completed in June 2000. 1July, 985, Chengong Temple was announced as a cultural relics protection unit in Songjiang County. Chen Gong Temple is a special shrine in Songjiang Prefecture to commemorate the national hero Chen Huacheng.
The original site of Chen Gong Temple was the Xiujia Garden of Wang Yuling, a great scholar in Kangxi period of Qing Dynasty. During the Daoguang period, Zhu Wenxuan and others purchased it for the construction of Chen Gong Temple. The memorial tablet of Chen Huacheng is enshrined in the shrine, along with Songjiang people who died in the same battle, such as Xu Lin, Xu Dahua and Qian Jinyu. 1862 (the first year of Tongzhi), the temple was destroyed by war. 1898 (the 24th year of Guangxu), Qingpu County Juren Huang initiated the reconstruction. 191212 On February 27th, Dr. Sun Yat-sen came to Songjiang to inspect the work of the Songjiang Branch of the League. When someone arranged for Mr. Sun to sleep, he said, "It is also a great blessing in life to let us spend the night with Teacher Chen." So, that night I lived in Chen Gong Temple. There are two main halls in Chengong Temple. There are three seven-framed beams in the foyer, a bucket arch under the eaves, and a cushion arch plate engraved with flower patterns between the bucket arches. [ 1]
