Corona ρb is an exoplanet located in the northern corona, about 57 light years away from the Earth. This planet orbits a celestial body similar to the sun, namely the yellow dwarf North Corona ρ. Scientists discovered this planet in April 1997, and it belongs to one of the first exoplanets discovered. The distance between the planet and its central star is only one-fifth of the distance between the earth and the sun, and its orbit is close to a circle with an orbital period of 40 Earth days.
Its mass is close to that of Jupiter, but the orbital eccentricity of the planet is still unknown, so this mass value is only the lower limit of its mass. If the orbital plane of a planet is the plane of an annular disk, its orbital inclination should be 46, and its actual mass is 1.5 MJ. ..
In 2000, some scientists claimed that based on the observation data of Iba Valley satellite, they concluded that the orbital inclination of the planet should be 0.5, and the corresponding mass should be 1 15MJ, which undoubtedly made it a red dwarf. But this data is very unreliable statistically, and this statement has not been further proved.
