On the evening of August 22nd, Beijing time, the Beijing Olympic Games table tennis women's singles competition ended for the championship. In the end, Zhang Yining defeated her elder sister Wang Nan 4-/kloc-0, and successfully defended her title four years later. At the award ceremony, Zhang Yining blew kisses to the audience frequently, and Wang Nan, who fought for his country 13, announced his retirement at the ceremony. Her words revealed her attachment to the stadium, which even exceeded her desire for the gold medal: "Actually, it's good to play against Zhang Yining like this. Finally, I really don't want to get the score back. I just want to win one more ball before I retire, which makes me feel that I have more time to play on the court. "
