This is cricket's food. If you catch a few crickets, a cup of sugar and a cup of bread crumbs are more than enough. Do not use spicy or seasoned bread crumbs. Ordinary bread is best for catching crickets, and any added ingredients may scare them away. You can stir more sugar and bread crumbs at a time and put the leftover food from catching crickets in the jar for later use. So you can catch crickets every few days. This method may be most suitable for outdoor use, because pouring food on the indoor floor will attract other animal pests, such as cockroaches and mice. At dusk, nocturnal crickets will scatter food on the ground and then come out to feed.
