What should I do if I encounter a ghost? Those who understand Buddhism, those who answer random questions, and those who are funny should not come.

The evil spirits in hell are suffering and cannot come out.

Hungry ghosts generally do not show themselves to others.

If you really meet the poster, he may be your enemy and creditor from the past life. They can find you because you have a predestined relationship with them. Even if it is a bad predestined relationship, you can help them overcome it. Thereby resolving his hatred.

Also, if you encounter the situation of "ghost hitting the wall" or "ghost crushing the bed" as the folk say, you must first stay calm and don't be afraid. People are often scared to death not by ghosts, but by themselves.

People are 30% afraid of ghosts, and 70% of ghosts are afraid of people.

Secondly, if the poster knows how to recite mantras, recite a Buddhist mantra and dedicate it to him. Help him to transcend.

If you don’t know how to recite mantras, just find a Buddhist scripture to recite. If you can’t find a Buddhist scripture, then the simplest thing is to recite 10 lines of "Namo Amitabha" and recite it sincerely.

When the abnormal state has passed, you must sincerely repent for the mistakes you have made in the past, even the sins you have committed in past lives, find a copy of the Ksitigarbha Sutra, and chant the sutra with your heart (for example, 108 times) ), dedicate the merits to all the enemies and creditors, and help them to be saved as soon as possible.

If you can’t recite it yourself, you can go to the temple and ask a mage to help with a ritual.

As soon as you help them transcend, you will be fine.

If you can learn how to give food, that would be the best. You can give food to hungry ghosts every day. The merits are immeasurable. But you have to persist for a long time, because if you are determined to give food, the ghosts will come to eat when the time comes. If you don’t persist, Not very good.

Also, someone upstairs said that the Diamond Sutra is offensive, but it is not.

As long as you don’t feel disgusted or murderous when you recite it, in fact, most of us are not that capable of conquering demons.

Let me tell you a little story, it might give you some inspiration.

Vajra descends to the temple god - Diamond Sutra Ghost God Qin

Author: Zhu Yunzhuanzhixiao

There is a lake temple on the Yangzhou River. The lake god is so majestic that people dare not offend him, otherwise they will suffer disaster.

At that time, there was a visiting monk, Dharmazang Brahmin, who was good at holding divine mantras, exorcising evil spirits and exorcising ghosts, and he was effective in all of them. A visiting monk had a disciple who studied mantras with him for several years and was able to subdue evil spirits.

One day, a disciple of Fazang Brahmin heard that the god in the lake temple was very powerful and wanted to chant a mantra to subdue it. Go and stay in that temple. Unfortunately, he died in the temple that night.

Fazang Brahmin was very angry after hearing this, so he also went to stay in the temple and chanted mantras in anger, hoping to surrender to the temple god. As a result, when God appeared, he himself died of internal and external fright.

Living in the same temple as Fazang, there was a monk who recited the Vajra Prajna Sutra. Hearing that his master and disciples had all died in the temple, he also came to the temple to try it out and kept reciting the Vajra Prajna Sutra at night.

In the middle of the night, I first heard a loud wind. Soon, a huge thing towered in. It had an ugly appearance, teeth as long as sharp swords, and eyes like lightning. It showed various magical changes to bluff people. However, the monks who read and recite the Diamond Sutra are not afraid in their hearts and their minds are not distracted. They only focus on reciting the sutras and do not care about any mischief.

After a while, the magical transformation stopped, he put his palms together and bowed his head, kneeling respectfully in front of the monk and listened to the Vajra Prajna Sutra.

The monk finished reciting the last sentence of the sutra, raised his head and asked the temple god: "Who is Tan Yue? He was so fierce just now, why is he so respectful now?"

The god answered : "My brother is the god of the lake here. The evil deeds are repaid like this. I heard the Master reciting the words "How dare King Kong move, so I lay down and listened."

The monk asked the god again: "Since Tan Yue is happy to hear the Buddhist scriptures, why "The two masters and disciples who came before were killed by you?"

The god replied: "The death of the first two masters was due to their own anger and fear when they saw my appearance, and they wanted to subjugate me. But he fainted, and it was not his disciples who beat him to death."

The monk gave a lecture on the Dharma to the temple god, and after hearing it, the god bowed and hid.

Neighboring Taoists and laypeople heard that two monks died of the temple deity, which meant that the master monk who chanted the sutras could hardly survive. Everyone came to see the monk and were quite surprised to see that the monk was safe and sound and looked good. Everyone asked about the reason, and he told the story again. Everyone who heard it was speechless and felt incredible at the power of the Vajra Prajna Sutra. Therefore, everyone decided to uphold and recite the Diamond Sutra, and those who heard it from far and near also decided to recite it.

After seeing the question, I would like to add that there is no saying in Buddhism that there is any sutra that is most powerful and suitable for dealing with ghosts. The key is for the poster to believe it. If the poster feels that the last two sentences of the mantra are good and he can recite them, he should memorize them specifically. Those two sentences are the same.

Sincerity leads to spiritual success.
