In Confucianism, he is another master after Zhu. He combined Zen and created Yangming's mind. His core theory is: to conscience. To put it simply, he thinks that "reason" lies in his own conscience rather than the outside world (unreasonable outside his heart), so he doesn't constantly "judge things" to the outside world, but "knows" (the famous Wei Ren judged the story of bamboo, and it is said that he stood in front of bamboo for seven days when he was young and got nothing. He advocated "the unity of knowledge and action", criticized Zhu Cheng's Neo-Confucianism, affirmed the value of "man", and thought that the equality of scholars, peasants, workers and businessmen could be said to conform to the development of the times. Unfortunately, his theory does not belong to the mainstream in China and has not received due attention. However, in Japan, Yangming's theory of mind finally defeated Zhuzi and became a prominent school, which greatly promoted the Meiji Restoration. Many reformists are his fans, advocating Yangming's theory of "self-respect and fearlessness". Among them, Tougou Heihachirou, a navy general who is respected and hated by Chinese people, actually hung up the sign of "Do your best and die before you die", which shows its great influence.
At the same time, it is admirable that this seemingly weak man is a military wizard who is upright and proficient in the art of war. The reason why he was named "Yangming" was because the cave where he realized Taoism was called "Yangming Cave" when he was demoted to Longchang, Guizhou, and the reason why he was demoted was because he dared to call Wei Liu a "power traitor"! Militarily, it only took more than a month to defeat the rebel general Zhu (but the funny Ming Wuzong was released and fought a new battle because he didn't get addicted himself), and then he repeatedly made meritorious military service in various places. Before he died, he shouted: "This heart is bright, what can I say!" Ended a legendary life.
