My earliest impression of Shaoxing came from the article "Kong Yiji"-when Kong Yiji arrived at the store, all the drinkers looked at him and smiled, and some shouted, "Kong Yiji, you have added a new scar on your face!" He didn't answer. He said to the cupboard, "Heat two bowls of wine and ask for a plate of fennel beans." I've always wanted to see the shops where Kong Yiji drinks and eats beans. This time our journey along the coastline finally came to Shaoxing.
It was already noon when we arrived in Shaoxing. After a light meal, we started the rest of the journey.
At the first stop, we went to Premier Zhou's ancestral home. Perhaps many people will wonder, isn't Premier Zhou from Huai 'an, Jiangsu, and why is his ancestral home in Shaoxing? Premier Zhou is a descendant of Zhou Dunyi, a philosopher in the Northern Song Dynasty. Zhou Dunyi is the author of Ailian. The ancestors of the Zhou family moved to Shaoxing in the Yuan Dynasty. Premier Zhou's ancestral home is where his ancestors lived, and he once lived here when he was a teenager. Premier Zhou also said more than once: I am from Shaoxing.
Premier Zhou's ancestral home is a platform door building in Ming and Qing dynasties, facing south and with three axes. 1939 At the beginning of the year, Premier Zhou inspected the anti-Japanese front line in Anhui and Zhejiang, and returned to Baisuitang to reunite with relatives and friends and pay homage to his ancestors.
A new exhibition hall has been built next to the ancestral home, which mainly shows the close relationship between Premier Zhou and his hometown Shaoxing, Premier Zhou's propaganda of the anti-Japanese national United front in his hometown Shaoxing on March 1939, and the life scenes of the Zhou family in that year, and reproduces and eulogizes the ordinary and glorious life of a generation of great men.
Many ancient buildings in Shaoxing are hidden in alleys. They look ordinary, but they are of great significance. From Premier Zhou's ancestral home, walk a few hundred meters to the former residence of Peking University President Cai Yuanpei.
Cai Yuanpei's former residence is located in a particularly narrow alley. It is a Taiwanese building with Shaoxing characteristics in Ming and Qing Dynasties. It is also the only celebrity memorial hall in China that specially introduces Cai Yuanpei's life story. The main buildings include a hall, a hall and a building, a total of three. Above the hall hung a plaque praising Cai Yuanpei by Chairman Mao. The whole former residence of Cai Yuanpei is full of scholarly atmosphere and deserves to be called the former residence of literati.
Walking out of the alley, the sun sets, and the stone bridge in the distance looks quite artistic in the afterglow of the setting sun. Shaoxing is a veritable water town, with various ancient bridges spanning waterways. Among many ancient bridges, there is one bridge that we must have a look at, that is, the eight-character bridge, which is the earliest overpass in China. Because it looks like a figure-eight from the front, it is also called a figure-eight bridge. Next to the ancient bridge is Shaoxing ancient residence, where you can feel the most primitive Shaoxing.
At the beginning of the lights, the pedestrian street in front of Lu Xun's hometown ushered in a bustling moment at night. Every Saturday night, we can enjoy Shaoxing opera with Shaoxing characteristics. China's second largest opera is called the second national opera. Sister Lin falls from the sky, Butterfly Lovers, The West Chamber, A Dream of Red Mansions and Sister Xianglin are all representative works of Yue Opera. Eating a stinky tofu with Shaoxing characteristics and listening to a Shaoxing opera make people feel like going back in time. Have a simple dinner in the evening and go to bed early to meet the next day's trip.
The next day, we first went to see Lu Xun's hometown. Lu Xun's hometown is very big, which is divided into four parts: ancestral home, San Tan Yin Yue, former residence and Lu Xun Memorial Hall. After receiving the tour ticket, you can start the tour.
We first arrived at Lu Xun's ancestral home, also known as Laotaimen in Zhou Jia, which was built in the reign of Qianlong in Qing Dynasty (1711-1799) and was Lu Xun's ancestral home. It is one of the best preserved taimen buildings in Qing Dynasty in Shaoxing. The "Deshoutang" at the entrance is the place where the Zhou family receives visiting guests and holds large-scale activities such as weddings, funerals and sacrifices.
From Lu Xun's ancestral home, opposite San Tan Yin Yue, a private school in Shaoxing at that time, was where Lu Xun studied when he was young. Lu Xun studied here for five years.
After visiting San Tan Yin Yue, the next stop is Lu Xun's former residence, also known as Zhoujiaxintaimen, which was built in Jiaqing period of Qing Dynasty. Lu Xun was born here, and the Herbal Garden is among them. Lu Xun spent his childhood and adolescence here, leaving many intriguing traces for people.
The last stop was Lu Xun Memorial Hall, where Lu Xun was introduced to us in detail. Throughout Lu Xun's hometown, we can see the source of Lu Xun's creation, from Baicaoyuan to San Tan Yin Yue, Xianglinsao, Kong Yiji and so on. Art comes from life, which is the best proof.
The whole hometown of Lu Xun is like a water town in the south of the Yangtze River, a small bridge with flowing water and a beautiful picture. Every tourist here must take the Wu Peng boat and feel the south of the Yangtze River on the water.
I have been hungry since I came out of Lu Xun's hometown, and I have a destination for lunch. That's Xianheng Hotel, where Kong Yiji drinks and eats beans. Although it has been completely changed now, the statue of Kong Yiji at the door can still bring people back to that article.
The beauty of Shaoxing will make people feel very tired even after a day's visit. It seems that I have turned into a scholar here, full of poetry and painting.
note:
The former residences of celebrities in Shaoxing are all free, but you need to make an appointment when there are many people. Everyone must estimate the time to play.
Shaoxing has a special vehicle, tricycle, which feels like a rickshaw. You can take us to various scenic spots in the ancient city, and the fee should be agreed in advance.
