Introduction to the Humanities Archives Center of Jinggangshan University in Qingyuan Society? Information? About what? IFCHINA? Original? studio
A person has a story of a person. A family has a story of a family. A city has a story of a city. A country has a story of a country. The sum of stories a person has heard since childhood constitutes his understanding of the world. When a person dies, what he leaves behind and takes away is his story.
Qingyuan Society Jinggangshan University Humanities Archives Center was established in June 2009, located in Ji 'an City, Jiangxi Province, China. It is a unique non-profit art and cultural institution in China, which records and tells the stories of a city and the communities, families and individuals living in the city.
Our films, photos, oral history and dramas have recorded the history and present situation of one of the most ordinary small cities in China in an all-round way, and the folk memories thus constructed will be shared, disseminated and educated by establishing the first "Memory Museum" in China.
At the same time, our artistic and cultural projects explore the real local culture in the era of globalization. Taking the most common small cities and their surrounding villages as samples, we try to explore the original motivation of local culture through artistic projects such as architectural landscape design, murals, fashion, music and public art with real local spirit. Our projects such as "one spoonful of rice" and "experimental field" have explored the future direction of a harmonious society.
Our exploration will provide new ideas and new impetus for the artistic and cultural development of China and other communities and societies in the world.
Some of our characteristics:
A unique non-profit organization in China, based on small cities, seeks the motive force for the development of art and culture.
It is not artists who do art, but ordinary residents who participate in art.
The exploration in the field of art and culture is at the forefront of China.
Some of the most interesting artistic and cultural activities took place in Ji 'an, even in Jiangxi.
Many foreign artists and college students come to the center for artistic creation or voluntary work at their own expense.

First, the memory class.
Through the exploration of "Memory" project, we try to answer these questions in the rapidly developing China society: Why do we need to know history? What is the significance of history to individuals, families, communities, societies and even ethnic groups? How many narrative forms are there in history? Is it necessary to record, preserve and share personal history? What does the documentary mean to the community? How does the documentary let the community know about itself?

Second, the cultural category
Qingyuan Society tries to find out what culture is in today's material wealth through the "culture" project. What is the initial motivation of culture? Can a community exist without culture? How does culture become the bond of the community?
1, building space unit (Qingyuan Social Space Studio):
We go to the countryside to help farmers build houses, and also help rural areas to design public spaces and build new countryside. Jiangxi is the only inland province in China adjacent to the Yangtze River Delta, Pearl River Delta and Taiwan Province Strait, so it is also one of the largest export destinations of migrant workers in China. Historically, Jiangxi has a very profound cultural tradition and is one of the most important positions of Neo-Confucianism, Taoism and Zen.
We inherit and carry forward Luling culture, and use culture to help rural areas build low-cost, local materials, environmentally friendly, energy-saving and low-carbon housing.
Project 2. 1. 1 Rural Private House Project: Help farmers build their own houses.
Project 2. 1.2 rural public space project: helping rural areas to design public buildings and spaces.
2. Warehouse unit
Yicang inherits the traditional cultural virtues of Luling, establishes a bond of trust and mutual love between people in Ji 'an urban and rural communities, strengthens the strength and belief of social goodness, and builds a harmonious society.
Project 2.2. 1 "One Spoon of Rice" Plan: "Kindhearted Family" joined "One Spoon of Rice" and promised to donate one Spoon of Rice every week. Volunteers in Yicang are responsible for sending these rice and other food to the aided families. While helping families with financial difficulties, we should help ourselves and build a harmonious community, city and society. "Good-hearted families" can also contribute time, take their children to visit the lonely elderly every week, do simple housework for the elderly or chat with them.
Project 2.2.2 "Experimental Field" Plan (in preparation): Let students and citizens participate in organic cultivation of experimental fields, advocate vegetables and low-carbon life, cultivate civic awareness and participation spirit, and build an environment-friendly and energy-saving society.
