The installation direction of the balance flowmeter is vertical. Is there anything to pay attention to?

When installing a balanced flowmeter, if you choose to install vertically, you need to pay attention to the following points:

1. The pressure tap should be inclined downward by 45 to prevent the gas and products in the liquid from being stored in the measuring chamber of the pressure guide tube or differential pressure transmitter, which will bring errors to the measurement.

2. The installation of the flowmeter in a place with poor velocity distribution may affect the measurement accuracy.

3. There are unnecessary phases in the conduit connected to the differential pressure device, which may affect the measurement results.

4. Installing the flowmeter in a harmful environment or inaccessible place may lead to difficulties in maintenance and troubleshooting.

The installation point should be far away from interference sources such as valves, pumps, high-voltage electricity, frequency converters, etc., and avoid being installed at the highest point of the pipeline system or on vertical pipelines with free exits. 6. Make sure that the direction of fluid flow is from bottom to top.
