Did Yongzheng bleed to death in Yuanmingyuan? What is the real cause of his death?

Yongzheng is one of the few diligent emperors in history. During his thirteen years in office, he went to court on time every day except his birthday and Chinese New Year. But for Yongzheng, there have always been two mysteries, one is the mystery of his accession to the throne and the other is the cause of his death. Yong Zhengdi died suddenly in Yuanmingyuan, and it was futile for later generations to guess the cause of Yongzheng's death. There are four reasons for the death of Yongzheng, namely, death, hanging of maids, poisoning and assassination.

With the popularity of Qing palace dramas, more and more Mayday emperors appeared in front of us, and we also learned about Yongzheng, a cold-faced emperor. Yong Zhengdi's name is Aisinggioro Yin Zhen, and his mother is De Wu Fei Ash. However, Yongzheng was not with his mother since childhood and was raised by his adoptive mother. Later, his relationship with his mother was not very good, so he developed his indifferent character. The cause of his death is a mystery because the records in the history books are particularly simple, but unofficial history mentioned that Yongzheng was bleeding at that time, and it was rumored that Lv Siniang, who escaped in the Lv Liuliang case, was stabbed to death in the palace.

There are also rumors that Yongzheng was killed by Qiangshen Dan. In his later years, Yongzheng often interacted with Taoist priests and worshipped Taoist alchemists. He believes that the Taoist elixir has the function of immortality and physical fitness. Yongzheng wants to live forever. Later, when he lived in Yuanmingyuan, he often ate the elixir they refined. This elixir may be poisoned by some heavy metals such as mercury, lead and selenium, so Yong Zhengdi died of taking elixir poisoning. Most of them have been said so far.

There are also rumors that Yongzheng was beheaded. In order to keep his body intact, he made a golden head for him. However, these statements are also legends. The next day, Qianlong blocked the cause of death of Yongzheng, which was even more intriguing. It is said that he also killed an alchemist in Yongzheng. The statement that Yongzheng was killed by Dan is more reliable. After all, an emperor is not so easily killed by eunuchs or assassins who enter the palace.
