The love story between Su Shi and Wang Fu: What kind of person is Su Shi's wife Wang Fu?

Like other periods and families in China's feudal society, the women in Meishan's Su family always have nameless names. Su Xun loves her daughter very much, but she is named Ba Niang, which obviously depends on the ranking order; Su Shi's mother, Mrs. Cheng, her grandmother, and even Su Zhe's wife, Mrs. Shi, all have nameless surnames, and at most they are called Su Shi and Su Cheng. However, the three women who accompanied Su Shi all had names: Wang Fu, Wang Runzhi and Wang Chaoyun, which is a miracle, and the emergence of a miracle must first start with Wang Fu.

After Wang Fu and Su Shi got to know each other, they became bandu who never went there. Born in a small family, Wang Fu is not only knowledgeable, but to Su Shi's surprise, she is very familiar with poetry books and has an excellent memory, sometimes even Su Shi can't catch up. Su Shi said in "Epitaph of Wang's Dead Wife":

At the beginning, he never said that he knew the book by himself. When you see Shi reading, you don't go all day, and you don't know if he can pass. Since then, Shi has forgotten something, and you can remember it. Ask other books, and you will know a little about them. It is sensitive and quiet from the beginning.

Careful readers should be able to see that Su Shi did not say that Wang Fu accompanied him to study after his wedding. The beginning should be that when I first met him, when I saw him studying, I didn't go all day. I don't know if he was in the Su family or the Wang family, or in the mountain temple where Su Shi was studying. The daughter of a small family is not so particular!

If bandu and Hint often appear between young loving couples, then after Su Shi became an official, Wang Fu's husband's contribution has long gone beyond the scope of the wife. Su Shi also recorded:

From Yu Fengxiang, the official of Shi, Shi did something outside, and you never asked for details. Confucius said: If you go far away, you must not be careless. The reason why the Japanese ancestors quit poetry is also that they talk to each other. Shi and the guest speak outside, and you listen to them between the screens. When you retreat, you will repeat your words: Someone also speaks at both ends, but what the son wants, what is the use of the son and the human speech? Some people come to ask for a close relationship with Shi, and you say, I'm afraid it won't last long It is sharp with people, and it will go quickly. It's already true. At the age of dying, his words can be heard more, and he is a man of insight.

Su Shi is frank and outspoken, and there is no bad guy in his eyes. This is what Su Xun is most worried about, and it is also what Wang Fu cares about all the time. However, she knew everything about what Su Shi did outside, which obviously violated the precepts of women. Wang Fu not only did this, but also eavesdropped on the conversation between the guests and Su Shi behind the screen, reminding Su Shi to be on guard against those people who lived in have it both ways. Su Shi can't name those people here, but two villains, Zhang and Zhang, who later persecuted Su Shi severely, were friends with Su Shi frequently in Fengxiang. Later facts proved that Wang Fu did have foresight. It can be seen that Wang Fu advised Su Shi, sometimes to the point where he could criticize him. The word "knowledge" is the highest evaluation of scholars in ancient times. Su Shi used these two words to describe his wife, which shows how much he respects Wang Fu.

Wang Fu often stops Su Shi's bad behavior. Su Shi once recalled:

An official lived in Liu Xia, where the snow was not accumulated; The snow is fine, and the grave rises several inches. Suspicion is the place where the ancients hid Dan medicine and wanted to send it. My late wife, Chong Dejun, said: If my aunt is here, she will not be sent. Stop with shame.

—— Collected Works of Su Shi, Volume 73, My First Lady Don't Stay in Tibet

Influenced by the Collection of Ancient Records compiled by Ouyang Xiu and the excavation of bronzes by Liu Chang everywhere, Su Shi liked to collect cultural relics for a while in Fengxiang, but as for the alchemy of Taoist priests, he was obsessed with it since childhood. Wang Fu used her mother-in-law's words to persuade her husband to stop digging indiscriminately, which made Su Shi very ashamed. Thus, in Su Shi's mind, Wang Fu is not only a good wife and mother, but also a supervisor of his own behavior sometimes. If they only rely on the stiff combination of parents' orders and matchmakers' words and Su Shi's unruly personality, they will never tolerate people he doesn't love to interfere in his affairs, let alone let others restrain their behavior. But Wang Fu's advice to him, he not only listened, but also remembered it all his life. This shows from another side the equal relationship between the two people and the feeling of belonging to each other.

At this time, let's go back to the story that Su Shi and Chen Jichang went to Queen's City Temple to summon souls together on the 2th day of the first month. Maybe Su Shi will tease Chen Jichang verbally, saying that there is a lion king who roars all day long in his home, but Chen Jichang knows in his heart that when Wang Fu was alive, Su Shi didn't treat her like a queen? Now the harbor composed of Wang Runzhi and Wang Chaoyun is warm, but what Wang Fu can give Su Shi is gone forever. A rough man like Su Shi always needs a good woman to polish him. Perhaps this is the biggest loss in his mind.

the land of love: I will never forget Matsuoka

Next, I will focus on Matsuoka. From the semantic point of view, if Matsuoka refers to Wang Fu's grave, it is a repetition of the previous solitary grave. The subtitle of this word is the diary dream of the 24th day of the first month of Yi Mao, and the main scene in the dream is that Wang Fu reappears in the window of Xiao Xuan. The solitary grave has been mentioned in front. If it is the Qingming Festival or the death of a wife, it is mainly the solitary grave, and it is reasonable to take care of it again later. Since this word is not based on mourning the solitary grave, it is not necessary for the author to use it again in a short span of 68 characters.

Scholars have always referred to Short Matsuoka as Wang Fu's graveyard, based on Su Shi's poem "Playing to Plant Pines", where there is a sentence that when I was a teenager, I planted pines all over Donggang (Zhu Jinghua's Collection of Classical Literature, page 248). In fact, when Su Shi returned to Sichuan to bury his father and Wang Fu at the same time, he was already a 32-year-old widower. Where was he when he was a teenager?

When Su Shi was a teenager, he did plow, graze and plant trees with his grandfather. His grandfather Su Xu died in the seventh year of Qingli, when Su Shi was twelve years old. This is what he really meant when he was a teenager. Su Xun and others were buried in February, 1988 at the side of Xianyou in Andaoli, Xiuwen Township, meishan county (the chronicle of Su Xun in Zeng Zaozhuang was attached), where the real Donggang was. And February is also a good season for planting pine. As for Wang Fu's tomb, Su Shi made it clear that it is eight steps northwest of the tomb of the first lady in Longli, Anzhen Town, pengshan county, northeast of Mei. (Epitaph of the Dead Wife Wang) The northeast of Mei is not consistent with Donggang, where he planted pine as a teenager, in terms of age, orientation and planting time.

in the famous poem Dongpo, Su Shi also said: the date planting period can be peeled off, and the pine planting period can be cut off. Ten years later, my plan is already embarrassing. With a little attention, it can be calculated that it has been 28 years since the death of Su Shi's grandfather Su Xu and his dream of Wang Fu in Mizhou. If the pine trees planted by Su Shi as a teenager are still short after 28 years, then the tree species he chose are too poor, or the water and soil in Meishan are too bad!

Of course, Su Shi's poems also contained an old man returning to Yuyuan Mountain and planting 3, pine trees by hand ("Send Jia Ne Y Eyebrows"). Laowengquan is the cemetery of Su Xun and Mrs. Cheng, and Wang Fu is buried not far from it, but the water there is very rich. According to Su Shi's theory of ten years of pine, it will never be short pine hill by this time.

more than 2 years ago, when I visited these two tombs, I found that the tombs of Mr. Lao Su and Mrs. Cheng were all surrounded by camphor trees. Wang Fu's tomb was in the northwest corner, and there was not a pine tree on the whole cemetery.

when I visited the old farmers on the hillside, I got the answer: generations have been saying that camphor trees are always planted in Sufen, and caterpillars are born in pine trees. How can rich families plant pine trees in cemeteries? Cinnamomum camphora never gives birth to insects, and it is valuable. People in the village say that with these camphor trees, the descendants of the Su family will become famous!

Some people may say that the local scene was not like this more than 9 years ago. The pine trees near Sufen were cut down by Meishan Yugong during the Cultural Revolution. So, let's see what the local situation was like when Su Xun was looking for a cemetery for Mrs. Cheng (and herself).
