One,
Zhu Houzong, the Jiajing Emperor, is an unusual emperor. He inherited the throne not from his father, but from his cousin Zhu Houzhao. Of course, the main reason is that Zhu Houzhao and Amin Wuzong have no children. In desperation, he chose Zhu Houzong as his successor.
If you inherit the throne in this way, there will be a great side effect, that is, the title of biological parents:
In fact, not only Emperor Jiajing faced this problem, but also Emperor Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty, and it started from the moment they acceded to the throne. After Emperor Jiajing ascended the throne, he was ready to marry his biological mother into the palace. Ministers objected, but there was nothing they could do.
According to ministers, Emperor Jiajing adopted the name of Ming Wuzong, and later he became emperor, but Emperor Jiajing himself did not admit it:
"I am the heir to the throne, not a prince."
Many ministers mentioned in their letters that Emperor Jiajing of Ming Shizong followed a large number of small sects and should respect orthodoxy, that is to say, Emperor Xiaozong of Ming Dynasty should be the emperor. This violated the interests of Emperor Jiajing, and thus began the three-year "big gift" dispute of Jiajing Dynasty.
The process is not detailed, and the result is a great victory for Emperor Jiajing. At this point, Emperor Guangxu can't, and it is also related to whether he has real power. After Emperor Guangxu ascended the throne, his biological father Yi Xuan was called "Prince Kao Chun Xian", while the biological father of Emperor Jiajing was honored as "Emperor Kao Gong Mu Xian".
At that time, hundreds of ministers wrote letters and cried in front of Wenhua. For example, Yang Shen, the top scholar at that time, said:
"The country raised a scholar for 150 years and died of sticking to the righteousness, just today."
This is related to what we talked about in the first issue. This is also one of the main reasons why the Royal Guards in Jiajing Dynasty were extremely active. Because the position of Emperor Jiajing was controversial, he took very tough measures to control the ministers. At that time, he ordered the Royal Guards to arrest eight ministers who took the lead.
As a result, a stone stirred up a thousand waves, and ministers became even more angry and cried loudly. In a rage, Emperor Jiajing arrested 134 officials with less than five grades, 86 officials with more than four grades left their posts without pay, and then began to spank officials with less than five grades. ...
Sixteen ministers died because of the scepter. At this point, the ministers stopped speaking, and the big ceremony ended with the victory of Emperor Jiajing.
Second,
As I said just now, Zhu Houzhao, the emperor of Amin Wuzong, passed the throne to Zhu Houzong, the emperor of Jiajing, because he had no children. Emperor Jiajing's personality determines his style of doing things. When leading the government, he should choose a queen. This queen was chosen by him and the Empress Dowager Chen.
Because the Empress Dowager is not her biological mother, and she caught up with the "big etiquette" dispute, Emperor Jiajing actually didn't trust the Empress Dowager or Empress Chen, and thought it was the eyeliner that the Empress Dowager placed beside her. Although she is beautiful, she is not favored by Emperor Jiajing.
At that time, Emperor Jiajing was also young and lustful. He had sex with other concubines and maids every day, but he never had children. This problem is very serious. Emperor Jiajing thought of his cousin's fate, and naturally he was flustered and worried.
This Empress Chen is really smart. Knowing that Emperor Jiajing believed in Taoism, he found a Taoist priest and told him to pretend that he must be with Empress Chen before having children.
The Taoist priest did so. As a devout believer, Emperor Jiajing turned his head and thought about it. It's true. Why else didn't he have children for so many years? As a result, after hard work, Queen Chen was really pregnant.
This made Emperor Jiajing very happy and liked Queen Chen very much, but men, the so-called "eating sex" means eating delicious and beautiful girls, so the tragedy of Jiajing's seven years happened:
"Emperor Jiajing sat with Queen Chen, and Zhang Shun went into the tea, and the emperor followed his hand. Queen Chen, get up after breaking the cup. The emperor was furious, and Empress Chen was so frightened that she became pregnant and soon collapsed. "
The word "Geng" here means angry, that is to say, Emperor Jiajing has been sitting well with Empress Chen, but the emperor always stared at the hands of other concubines, which made Empress Chen very jealous.
There is a saying that Emperor Jiajing kicked Queen Chen in the right stomach, causing her to miscarry and bleed to death. Because history is a little girl dressed for anyone, Queen Chen dared to get angry in front of Emperor Jiajing, proving that she had done it before. This time, she flew into a rage, probably because there were two other women around her, which hit the strong self-esteem of Emperor Jiajing. Therefore, it is not excluded that he kicked Queen Chen in a rage.
When Empress Chen was buried, Emperor Jiajing gave her a "mourning" posthumous title, which was not very nice. Many years later, Emperor Jiajing, who had settled down, began to reflect on his previous frivolity, irrationality and irritability. Angry, he gave Queen Chen a "filial piety".
Third,
After the death of Empress Chen, Zhang Shunfei was posthumously named Queen. This Zhang Shunfei is the concubine that Jiajing Emperor stared at in front, and is also one of the parties who grieved Queen Chen. Her characteristic should be a pair of sandy jade hands.
She learned a lesson from her predecessor, Empress Chen, and dared not say a bad word. She followed Emperor Jiajing completely, whatever you say. Emperor Jiajing still wanted children. After all, his prince is much more precious, so he has a good relationship with Queen Zhang and is quite loving.
As a result, after the death of Queen Chen, the two men tossed about for another six years and still had no children. Emperor Jiajing believed in Taoism and often took some panacea or something. On this day, a Taoist priest presented a purple ganoderma lucidum. Queen Zhang doesn't believe what Taoist priests say, and she doesn't think that eating it can cultivate immortality and get pregnant.
Emperor Jiajing still let her taste what it was. The meal was so troublesome that she vomited and diarrhea, which almost killed her. Therefore, Queen Zhang can't help complaining about grievances. She dares to say that cultivation is not good, which is not bad. She immediately abolished Queen Zhang and went to the cold palace.
There is also a saying that Queen Zhang was abolished because she pleaded for Zhang Taihou, who had fallen out with Emperor Jiajing, and sought the favor of Zhang Taihou's younger brother, which led to her being abolished.
The third queen is called Queen Fang. In fact, she also died in front of Emperor Jiajing, but later Emperor Jiajing did not stand up again. On the one hand, she doesn't want to, on the other hand, she is superstitious.
Because emperor jiajing had no children, Zhang Fujing suggested:
"After the establishment of the ancient emperor, six palaces, three ladies, nine concubines, twenty-seven concubines and eighty-one concubines were built to enrich the heirs."
That's why there are three queens. The fourth queen was not actually sealed by Emperor Jiajing, but also died young. She is Ming's biological mother, and Ming is the empress Yu.
Let's talk about this queen Fang first. Her death was really tragic, and she was burned alive, but it was also related to her style of doing things. Having said that, let's go back to the plot of "Daming Dynasty 1566". It is not difficult to find that the eunuchs who served Emperor Jiajing had Fang Lu before them and Chen Hong after them. Moreover, there is not a concubine of Emperor Jiajing in the whole play, and there is not a maid-in-waiting around Emperor Jiajing.
Then we can't help asking, why didn't Emperor Jiajing of the Ming Dynasty 1566 let the maids wait on him?
This is about the cultivation of immortals by Emperor Jiajing. As the saying goes, "If you want to be immortal, you must abstain from sex first"!
Fourth,
According to the Taoist priest, Emperor Jiajing needed abstinence to cultivate immortality, but there was a contradiction with the family line, and Emperor Jiajing himself was lewd. What should I do?
Of course, there are also good people to give advice. If you don't abstain from abstinence, it is also possible, so you need innocent women, so a large number of such women are supplied to Emperor Jiajing in order to "take yin and replenish yang."
Later, Emperor Jiajing also gave birth to eight sons, and three survived. Because Emperor Jiajing listened to the Taoist priest's advice and said that "two dragons can't meet each other", he treated his son very indifferently and never conferred the crown prince in his life. This is also reflected in the play, why the relationship between Yu Wang and his father is so cold that he can have a meal in the spare time, and surprisingly, this is exactly the case.
Because Emperor Jiajing was lustful and wanted to cultivate immortality, he used the menstrual blood of a young woman, mixed with herbs and minerals, and then took it. Another component of this Dan medicine is the urine of boys and girls, which contains "sex ~" hormone, so it has a certain effect.
In order to keep these young ladies clean, they are not allowed to eat during menstruation, but only eat a little mulberry leaves and drink a little dew, which led to the coup of these young ladies. After all, this life is worse than death.
This incident was called "Renyin Palace Change", and more than a dozen maids headed by Yang were determined to kill Emperor Jiajing. When Emperor Jiajing lived in the Cao family, they launched the action of strangling Emperor Jiajing, but they didn't strangle Emperor Jiajing, and two others ran to tell Queen Fang.
Queen Fang immediately took people to save Emperor Jiajing, put the maids in Ling Chi to death, implicated nine families, and Cao was also put to death. It was this move that made Emperor Jiajing disheartened and used it as an excuse to move to Xiyuan, where he lived for twenty years and never went to court again.
Because the execution of Cao by Queen Fang was completed the day after Jiajing Emperor was strangled, Jiajing Emperor was still dizzy at that time. When he woke up, he was very angry and thought Cao had been wronged, so he gave in to Queen Fang.
Later, a fire broke out in the West Palace where Queen Fang was located. When Emperor Jiajing heard about it, he didn't stop people from putting out the fire, so Queen Fang was burned alive. ...
For Emperor Jiajing who lives in Xiyuan, there are only two things left. One is to continue to take the "stupid" medicine prepared by Taoist priests, and the other is to cultivate immortality.
Why Yan Song became a record at this time lies in his good writing of green characters. The so-called green word is a blessing to heaven when offering sacrifices. In the play, Yan Song also mentioned that he can not only write green characters, but actually write a good position by green characters.
But this is also the reason why Jiajing Emperor is powerful. While eating Dan medicine, I read the green word and cultivate immortality in the name of the seat. At the same time, shake hands alone on state affairs. Really awesome, awesome!
Some people say that the Ming Dynasty finally died in Emperor Chongzhen, but in fact it died in Emperor Wanli, but I think it started with Emperor Jiajing. His life was so wonderful!
