Is it true that whoever lives in the Humble Administrator's Garden, the first of the four famous gardens, is unlucky? Who are these unlucky people?

The four most famous gardens in my country include the Summer Palace in Beijing, the Humble Administrator's Garden in Suzhou, Chengde Summer Resort in Hebei, and the Lingering Garden in Suzhou. As the first of the four famous gardens, many unfortunate things happened to the successive owners of the Humble Administrator's Garden.

1. The first owner of the garden

The Humble Administrator's Garden was built by Wang Xiancheng, a Jinshi in the Ming Dynasty. After he was framed as an official, he became disheartened and had no interest in officialdom anymore. He returned to his hometown and built his own paradise, and named the garden Humble Administrator's Garden, which means that clumsy people can only enjoy life with peace of mind, and smart people can be officials in the officialdom. Obviously, Wang Xiancheng was still angry at that time. The garden is very exquisite and took a lot of time. The first owner of the garden was Wang Xiancheng's son. Wang Xiancheng's son loved gambling, so he soon gambled on this exquisite garden.

2. Cao Xueqin

Cao Xueqin’s grandfather once served as an official in Suzhou, and later bought part of the Humble Administrator’s Garden to live in. Therefore, Cao Xueqin often came to play in the Humble Administrator’s Garden when he was a child. "A Dream of Red Mansions" written by Cao Xueqin is also based on the Humble Administrator's Garden. In his later years, Cao Xueqin's family fell into poverty and his life was miserable.

3. Wang Yixin

During the Chongzhen period of the Ming Dynasty, Wang Yixin was fortunate enough to be an official in Suzhou and bought the Humble Administrator's Garden. Wang Yixin was the most poetic and picturesque man. He renovated the Humble Administrator's Garden, complete with small bridges, flowing water and rice fields. The Wang family lived here for several generations, and the Wang family still lived here until the Daoguang period. Later, the Wang family declined, and the beautiful scenery in the garden became a wasteland. It seems that the descendants of the owner of the Humble Administrator's Garden are very disappointing!

Now the Humble Administrator’s Garden has become a 5A-level scenic spot in my country. Many tourists must go to Suzhou to have a look at the Humble Administrator’s Garden. The park is built around water and surrounded by rockeries and trees.
