Name allusion:
The Qing Dynasty built the Dongling Tomb in Zunhua County, Hebei Province. During the Tongzhi period, in order to please Cixi, the eunuch guarding the tomb gave away this local specialty. Entering the palace, I invited Lafayette to taste it. The Empress Dowager Cixi had a habit of eating in a grand manner. No matter what dish was served, she would only take two bites at most, and the eunuch would quickly remove it and replace it with a new dish. This time, the imperial dining room specially made Jingdong's fried bean rolls for Lafayette. When she saw that she had not eaten it, she asked: "What kind of dish is this?" The eunuch quickly replied: "I haven't had time to go back to Lafayette. Let me give you a taste of the name first. Please give me a name by the Buddha!" ??Empress Dowager Cixi picked up the chopsticks and took two bites without any expression. The eunuch took a look and hurriedly moved away. Unexpectedly, the Empress Dowager Cixi had not eaten enough, so she said slowly: "Let's leave it alone!". When the eunuch heard that this was the name of the dish given by the Queen Mother, he immediately passed it on: "The old Buddha gave this dish the name '饹馇'!" "饹馇" is a homophone for "祹馇". From then on, the name "饹馇" has been passed down among the people to this day. The value of Zouyu has also greatly increased.
