The territorial affiliation of Jixi City has changed frequently.

Mishan Prefecture in Jilin Province was renamed Mishan County. In 1919, Boli set up a county government. Today, most areas of Chengzihe District, Didao District and Jidong County in Jidong County of Jixi City belong to Mishan County of Jilin Province. Today, all the areas in Lishu District of Jixi City and Tudingzi Village, * * * Rongcun Village and auspicious village in Mashan District belong to Muling County.

During the occupation of Northeast China (September 1931-August 1945)

in p>1931, Japanese imperialism flagrantly launched the September 18th Incident. Mishan county is called Mishan county. On March 1, 1932, the puppet regime concocted by the Japanese Kwantung Army, the puppet Manchukuo, was proclaimed in Changchun. On December 1, 1934, 15 counties, including Hulan, Heilongjiang Province, and 1 Banner merged with 12 counties, including Acheng, Jilin Province, to form the pseudo-riverside province. Today, the territory of Jixi City is under the jurisdiction of Mishan County and Muling County of Binjiang Province from Jilin Province.

On July 1, 1937, the Puppet Manchukuo newly established Tonghua (now in Jilin Province) and Mudanjiang provinces. Today Jixi city belongs to Mudanjiang Province. On June 1, 1939, in order to strengthen the "preparedness" of transit, the Japanese invaders put forward the plan of "revitalizing the north" and established the "Ministry of National Defense". From Mudanjiang, Sanjiang, Binjiang, Longjiang and 4 provinces, some counties have been set up to set up two provinces: Bei 'an and Dong 'an. On September 1st, 1941, the puppet Dong 'an Province set up Jining County in Jixi Street, which governed Jining, Didao and Hengshan Street and nine villages of Jining, Hengshan, Didao, Pingyang Town, Hadagang, Kangnong, Xinping and Quhe, with a total of 23,262 households and a population of 15,524. Lishu Town, Pinggang, Jixiang and Tudingzi belong to Muling County. Xiaowu Station belongs to Boli County.

On October 1st, 1943, the Japanese Kwantung Army established the East Manchuria General Province in order to make the military jurisdiction and administrative jurisdiction of the border areas consistent and strengthen its "national defense construction". During the War of Liberation (September 1945-September 1949)

Today Jixi is Jining County, Hejiang Province. The affiliation of other regions has not changed.

on September 3, 1945, Japanese imperialism surrendered and the puppet Manchukuo collapsed overnight. On November 21st of the same year, China * * * established Hejiang Provincial Government in Jiamusi. On March 1, 1946, the provisional government of Jining County was established, which was under the Dong 'an Agency of Hejiang Province. On April 15th, Suining Provincial Government was established, and Jining County was subordinate to Suining Province. On May 13th, the Dong 'an prefectural committee of China decided to set up the Jining county government. No, the affiliation has not changed. On May 1th, 1947, Yong 'an County Government was established, which governs Yong 'an, Heitai, Lianzhushan, Lower Liangzi and Donghai District. At the end of July, the Hejiang Provincial Party Committee decided to cancel the merger of Yongan County and Jining County. At the same time, it was decided that the East China Sea, Xiangyang and Lower Liangzi Districts would be classified as Jining County, and the remaining four districts would be classified as Mishan County. On October 1 of the same year, the Mudanjiang agency and the province were revoked, and Jining County was under the jurisdiction of Hejiang Province. On May 1, 1949, Hejiang Province was abolished and merged into Songjiang Province, and Jining County was placed under the jurisdiction of Songjiang Province. On July 3th of the same year, Jining County was renamed Jixi County, and its affiliation remained unchanged.

On October 1st, 1949, the People's Republic of China was founded, and Jixi County was subordinate to Songjiang Province. On June 19, 1954, the Central People's Government Committee decided to merge Songjiang Province and Heilongjiang Province to form Heilongjiang Province in the New Year. On August 1st of the same year, the People's Government of Heilongjiang Province was established in Harbin. Jixi County is a county directly under the jurisdiction of Heilongjiang Province.

Modern Jixi

On December 18th, 1956, the 41st meeting of the State Council approved the cancellation of Jixi County and the establishment of Jixi City (prefecture level), which was directly under the jurisdiction of Heilongjiang Province. From March 5 to July 1957, the first People's Congress of Jixi City was held and the first People's Committee of Jixi City was elected. According to the decision of Heilongjiang Provincial People's Committee, the towns of Yinfeng, Jilin, Shengli, Qianjin, Yonghe, Jincheng, Xincheng, Comprehensive, Friendly, Xinglong, Hada, Donghai, Yong 'an and Heping Yang in XiaLiangzi Township under the jurisdiction of Mishan County; Xingnong, Anping River and Hadalazi Township are assigned to Boli County. Lishu District of Muling County, Poxiang of West Building of Mashan District of linkou county and Taihe Village of Kuishan Township were placed under the jurisdiction of Jixi City. Jixi City governs 5 districts and 1 townships. That is, Jiguan District governs Hongxing Township, Chengzihe Township and Liangjiajie Township; Hengshan District governs Fengle Township and Shengli Township; Didao District governs Liumao Township and Tuanshanzi Township; Mashan District governs Datong Gou Township, Lanling Township and Mashan Township; Lishu District. In August, Jixi City was placed under the jurisdiction of Mudanjiang Agency. In October, the oak forest farm under the original jurisdiction of 851 Farm of Mishan Agricultural Reclamation Bureau was placed under the jurisdiction of Jixi City. In June 1964, a part of Jixi City, Mishan County and Boli County was set aside to establish Jidong County. Jixi City classified Yinfeng and Hada Commune as Jidong County. On December 19th, 1968, the Revolutionary Committee of Heilongjiang Province decided that Jixi was a municipality directly under the central government.

in p>1983, the leadership system of city governing county was implemented. On October 18th, the CPC Jixi Municipal Party Committee, Municipal Government, Mudanjiang prefectural Party Committee and Mudanjiang Administrative Office held a communication meeting in Jidong County according to Heizheng Fa Han [1983] No.38 "Notice that Jidong County was placed under the jurisdiction of Jixi City". So far, Jixi has jurisdiction over 6 districts, 3 counties (cities) and 49 townships (towns).
