Who knows more about Mosuo Lake?

(Forward) For your reference, Lugu Lake is located in Yongning Township, ninglang county, Lijiang, Yunnan, about seven hours from Lijiang. According to legend, Kublai Khan led an army to pacify Dali in the 13th century, and found the picturesque Lugu Lake on the plateau. The villagers were even more quiet and peaceful and enjoyed themselves, so they named it Yong (Yuan) Ning (Jing). Miss Shu, a Naxi tour guide, told us that Mosuo people in Binassi are tall (especially women), and their noses are very distinctive, almost all of them are tall, straight and straight. This may be related to the unique marriage system of Mosuo people. Mosuo people regard their birthdays as their mothers' suffering days, and their bar mitzvah at the age of 13 is their most important personal festival in the world. At the bar mitzvah ceremony, women step on rice with the right column (representing farming and housework), while men step on pig fat with the left column (representing hunting and wandering the rivers and lakes). From now on, they become full members of the family and can fall in love. According to the custom of Mosuo people, men don't marry women, and both parties to the marriage live in their mother's house for life, commonly known as "walking marriage". After the child is born, a "full moon wine" will be held, and all the village neighbors will go to congratulate him. This is the most important part of Mosuo people's marriage. This process makes children public and legalized. From then on, men and women can no longer marry others openly. Of course, if the relationship between the two sides turns weak or even breaks down, they can "bye bye" and find the right person separately. Shu Dao also taught everyone to learn to sing "Love Song of Lugu Lake", which is a duet with beautiful lyrics and tunes. The car was running on the Panshan Highway at an altitude of nearly 3 meters. Suddenly, a pool of water jumped out of the blue sky, white clouds and green mountains, and Lugu Lake arrived! We filed down for a panoramic view of Lugu Lake. Lugu Lake is surrounded by mountains. Under the sunshine, the lake is pure blue, and the lake is like a mirror. There are several small islands embedded in the lake area of more than 5 square kilometers, and the reflection is clear and charming. What a fairyland on earth! We walked around the lake and arrived at our destination-Luoshui Village, a Mosuo stockade near the mountains and rivers. Boarding the colorful cruise ship, two beautifully dressed Mosuo women rowed for us. On the sparkling lake, dozens of cruise ships shuttle back and forth, and the scene is very lively. Boating on the lake, bathed in a warm breeze, tasting the sweet water, looking far away, it is refreshing. After the opening of the road from Ninglang to Yongning in the 197s, Lugu Lake's tourism started. In 1996, the government built "Mosuo Villa" in Luoshui Village to receive more and more tourists. However, the main purpose of most tourists to Lugu Lake is not the lakes and mountains, but the matriarchal customs of Mosuo, so most people prefer to stay in family hostels run by Mosuo people, expecting to have a personal experience of Mosuo culture. We are no exception, staying at the "Mosuo Restaurant" in Luoshui Village. This is a quadrangle with three floors, all made of wood (called "wooden room" by locals). Rent the ground floor facing the street, and distribute the delicacies and handicrafts here. The rest of the rooms are used to receive tourists except for a small amount of personal use. Room conditions are very simple, no sanitary facilities, only two or three simple beds and a desk. The rooms are just "separated by a board", and the sound insulation effect can be imagined. Maybe it's because I'm new here and I'm curious about everything about the Mosuo people. Everyone enjoyed dinner. The Mosuo people served their special dish for the guests-pork belly, which was at least one inch thick, and everyone was afraid. I dare to try it early, and put a piece in my mouth. Oh! Delicious, fat but not greasy, a sense of comfort spread from the mouth to the whole body. Soon, a plate full of pork was gone, and some lesbians who didn't even eat fat even ate three or four pieces. I learned from the chef that there are 15 people in their family, including 5 uncles, the youngest of whom is 25 years old and has never been married. This restaurant can accommodate nearly 1 passengers, and the occupancy rate is about 3% at ordinary times, and it is full during the National Day and other long holidays. His family's annual net income is more than 2, yuan, which is relatively rich in Luoshui Village. After dinner, it was a "Mosuo people's home visit" program, and we visited the restaurant owner's residence. This room is more than 3 square meters, half of which is a kitchen, with stoves, gas tanks, pots and pans, oil, salt, sauce and vinegar, and pig's trotters hanging from the beams. The other half is a fire pit, and a kettle is placed on the tripod, and the charcoal fire under it bursts into flames from time to time. Next to him sat an elderly man (presumably an old uncle at home). Their little daughter and Shu Dao introduced some information about the Mosuo family. The fire pond represents the family, clan, ancestors and religion. It is the most sacred place in Mosuo and the heart of matriarchal family life (so it is also called "mother house"). Before every meal, Mosuo people will sacrifice their dead ancestors here. Here is also the place with the most strict rules, such as not walking in front of others, not crossing the fire pond, not stepping on the pot farm above the fire pond with your feet, and never saying anything related to sex. At home, the old grandmother and uncle sit at the top right and left of the fireplace, while others sit on both sides according to seniority and gender, with the elderly at the top and the young at the bottom. In order to develop tourism, the rules are now relaxed, allowing tourists to visit and sit in the position of grandmother and uncle. The fire in the fire pit can never be put out. I looked around the mother house, and the wood on the walls was smoked black. After nightfall, we went to watch the fire party of Mosuo people. The party was set in a big yard with a bonfire about 2 meters in diameter burning in the middle. Fire burns with the wind. At first, a Mosuo boy played a flute, and more than 2 Mosuo young men and women dressed in national costumes sang and danced. Later, several tourists came forward, danced hand in hand with Mosuo youth and circled around the bonfire. Gradually, the team snowballed and the stands were almost empty. The bonfire is burning more and more brightly, and people's mood is getting higher and higher. Walking out of the party, we looked up at the sky and suddenly found that it was full of stars and very bright. Especially the big dipper, which is particularly dazzling. Someone immediately said that next time they should bring their children, watch the celestial phenomena on the plateau and see the Beidou. The night in Lugu Lake is charming and short. In order to grasp the limited time to interpret the Mosuo people, I got up at 5: the next morning, when the east was slightly white. I forgot to wash, so I immediately picked up my camera and went straight to the lake. I wanted to observe Lugu Lake with the eyes of a modern urbanite and feel the Mosuo people. For more than an hour, I hurriedly photographed the morning scenery of Lugu Lake, the Mosuo men's fishing trade, the Mosuo old man circling clockwise around the Mani pile to pray, the young women carrying baskets up the mountain, the men's cavalry ready to go, and the innocent and lively children playing in front of the wooden room ... There are so many things to see and shoot.
