As we all know, there is an international standard, which states that people with a life span equal to 5 to 7 times the maturity period are considered longevity. In this way, human life span should be 100 to 175 years. Why hasn't it been achieved? The main reason is that we do not pay attention to health care and do not listen to health care. This problem is very serious in China, especially for leading cadres. The National Health Service has repeatedly emphasized that everyone should pay attention to their own health care. Nowadays, the vast majority of people die of illness, and a very small number die of old age. Most probably died of old age and a few died of illness. This extremely abnormal phenomenon requires us to correct it as soon as possible.
Recently the United Nations praised our neighbor Japan. Why praise Japan, because his longevity is the world champion. The average life expectancy of their women is 87.6 years. In our country, it was 35 years in the 1950s, 57 years in the 1960s, and now it is 67.88 years, which is a full 20 years behind Japan. This is unforgivable. Japan's advanced experience is that health classes are taught once a month on a community basis. If you don't come to attend, you must make up the class. Our country does not have such a system. Anyone who wants to listen can listen, and anyone who doesn’t will be pulled down. After I returned to China, I asked many people, how long should I live? Someone told me that age 50 or 60 is enough, which shows that our standards are too low. Most of them don't know anything about health care and live a makeshift life. The problem is serious. I have worked in hospitals for 40 years, and most people die from illness in a very painful way. My purpose here is very clear. I am entrusted by science and ordered by the Ministry of Health. I hope everyone will pay attention to health care.
The United Nations has put forward a slogan: "Never die of ignorance." Many people die out of ignorance, which is unjust. The average age of our intellectuals is 58.5 years old. Based on this number, I think not counting preschool education, it will take 6 years of primary school, 6 years of middle school, 8 years of medical school, 3 years of master's degree, 3 years of doctorate, and 3 years of postdoctoral education. Now, I can't do anything at all. Many scientists are not older than this age. I met General Zhang Xueliang in Stanford, USA, and attended his 100th birthday in New York. I am very educated, and we were surprised when we saw him when we walked in. He was neither blind nor deaf. Many people asked him: "Young Marshal, how can you live for so long?" His answer was clear: "It's not that I live long, but that they live too short." The meaning of this sentence is that you live a short life, but you still think that I live a long life. I still remember this scene very clearly to this day. And many of us are very confused and know nothing about health care, so we can't do our jobs well because we are in an unhealthy or sub-healthy state every day. I have met many people. I met Soong Meiling in Changdao. They all lived very long, over 100 years old. They can live, why can't we live? I'm very surprised that many of us live a makeshift life, and this kind of thinking is extremely harmful.
Do you know how to maintain health? In fact, there was an international declaration at a meeting in Victoria. This declaration has three milestones. The first is called balanced diet, the second is called aerobic exercise, and the third is called mental state. These three milestones are known internationally, but many of us are not aware of them. The titles of these three milestones will not change, but the content may change at any time. The average life span of people on earth is more than 70 years old. Ours is 67.88 years old, which is not yet the average life span. There are many people who have set records. As far as I know, there is a British man named Homan Kamen who is 209 years old this year and has experienced 12 dynasties. If you don’t believe me, I can tell you the phone number of an old Romanian lady. She is 104 years old this year. What is even more strange is that she gave birth to a fat baby when she was 92 years old. If others can live, we can make do with it. Can you make do with it?
Balanced diet
Now I will talk about the first question, balanced diet.
Why are the two countries so different? This is because they don't understand and they can't blame the old man. No one tells them. Exercising in the morning is very dangerous. When you wake up in the morning, your body temperature and blood pressure are high, and adrenaline is four times higher than at night. If you exercise vigorously, you are prone to accidents and cardiac arrest. Long-distance running was launched in 1998, and it is well documented that four old men have died in Beijing. If they run again, it will be ruined. Some party committees organize old men and women to climb Xiangshan Mountain, and they go there early in the morning. They are worried about ghosts and say: "Whoever climbs faster will live longer." I don’t know whose idea it was, and I don’t understand it now. I tell you, if you continue like this, you will make a mistake, because the leaders do not understand health care from the beginning. Never organize this kind of activity, it is the most taboo in medicine. We are not opposed to taking a walk in the morning, doing gymnastics, doing Tai Chi, and practicing Qigong. This is beyond reproach. However, if middle-aged and elderly people exercise strenuously in the morning, engage in long-distance running, or climb Xiangshan Mountain, it will do no harm but no good, and the mortality rate is very high. You may not die if you don't run long distances, and you may not die if you don't climb mountains. This is called dying of ignorance, and the result is that you are harming yourself.
The human body needs weak alkali. What is a weak base? Vegetables, fruits. In all developed countries and healthy countries, vegetables and fruits are consumed the most. If you don’t know how to maintain health, you can just order food, which is useless. Some people joke that these corrupt criminals do not need to be shot, but will eat them to death. I don’t think it is an exaggeration at all. Some people argue with me and say: What should I do if I haven’t solved the problem of food and clothing? If you don't solve the problem of food and clothing, what does it have to do with you starving to death! Everyone knows that money and power are both important. Someone mentioned to me that "power makes you successful". We know that the most powerful one is the Chinese emperor. Let’s not talk about the Qing Dynasty. There were 13 emperors. Tongzhi died at the age of 19, Shunzhi at the age of 23, Xianfeng at the age of 31, and Guangxu at the age of 38. However, there was Qianlong who lived to be 89 years old. He is particularly good at health care, and he is the champion among emperors. We checked his file. First, he was very good at exercising. Second, he ate evaporated cakes, a combination of coarse and fine grains. Third, he was fond of traveling. The most famous one was his three trips to Jiangnan, so he lived to be 89 years old. We surveyed 818 monks, 30 or more monks were over 90 years old, and the youngest one was 65 years old. What rights do monks have? Diet deserves our attention! We should know that it is an extreme food and does not conform to our eating habits.
"Valley", people never mention rice, white flour, or McDonald's at international conferences. The first thing mentioned among cereals is old corn, which is said to be the "golden crop". The American Medical Association conducted a census on the origin of old corn and found that none of the primitive Americans and Indians had high blood pressure or arteriosclerosis. It turned out to be eating old corn. Later, it was discovered that old corn contains a large amount of lecithin, linoleic acid, cereal alcohol, and VE, so high blood pressure and arteriosclerosis do not occur. Since then, the United States has changed. America, Africa, Europe, Japan, Hong Kong, and Guangzhou, China all eat corn soup in the morning. Why do many people take lecithin now? Just hope that arteriosclerosis will not occur. But he didn’t know that old corn contained the most, so he didn’t need to spend more money.
I did some research in the United States and found that an old corn costs US$2.50, while in China it costs 1 yuan, a difference of 16 times. But many of us don’t know it and don’t eat it. After this census, I immediately corrected myself. I continued to drink polenta every day for 6 years in the United States. I am over 70 years old this year. I am full of energy and energy, have a loud and confident voice, and have no wrinkles on my face. What's the reason? You drink polenta, believe it or not. I work in health care and they ask me to prescribe medicine, so I advise them not to take diazepam. I say eat some millet porridge. What happened? He came to me after drinking a bowl of millet porridge and said why he still couldn't sleep! Who told you to drink only one bowl? Morphine is not that fast. I conducted a census in rural areas and found that those old men and women didn’t know what insomnia was and just fell asleep while lying in bed. I observed carefully and found that people were drinking millet porridge. So now I have changed. A bowl of polenta porridge in the morning will make me feel refreshed, and a bowl of millet porridge in the evening will make me fall asleep soundly. How wonderful it is! You have to understand that diet therapy is more important than medication. This is what Li Shizhen said. All the Compendium of Materia Medica written by Li Shizhen are all about food. Why don't we solve the problem with food? We have to take medicine! There are ten medicines and nine poisons. I have never heard of medicines that can protect your health. Qin Shihuang didn't do it, Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty didn't do it, and you can't do it either. But I want to make it clear: I am not against taking medicine, it is *** who is against taking medicine. I am opposed to taking medicine indiscriminately, and I advocate taking medicine in a "short, flat and fast way". Take medicine for a short period of time, take safe medicine, and stop medicine quickly.
Let’s talk about the “bean” in “grains, beans, and vegetables”. Our census results show that the entire Chinese people lack high-quality protein. Therefore, we always win with the small ball, but we cannot win with the big ball. Why? Every kick and bump on the court was followed by a somersault. Our current drug costs are ten times higher than in the United States, but our health is not as good as others. What should we do if the Chinese people don’t have enough high-quality protein? Now the Ministry of Health has put forward the "Soybean Action Plan", which is "a handful of vegetables, a handful of beans, an egg and some meat." After I talked about it, Peking University students said it was "half a pound of eggs and two ounces of meat, plus some vegetables and some beans." An egg contains 300 milligrams of cholesterol, so why eat half a catty and get two ounces of meat? There is no such thing.
