1. Huanghe Road Food Street: Close to People's Square, a 5-minute walk from the subway. It is on the road between the International Hotel and the Grand Guangming Cinema. I took interpretation classes there in the early years and basically had my dinner there. To solve the problem, go to Xiaoyang Shengjian and order 2 liang fried noodles + fried tofu and vermicelli soup, or go to Jiajia Soup Bao and order 2 liang fresh meat soup buns + seaweed and egg skin soup. They are both extremely delicious and perfect combinations! Who knows who eats it! ! But there are so many people, you have to queue up! But now there are more and more branches of these two, and they can be seen in many other places in Shanghai.
Of course, you can find all kinds of delicious food on Huanghe Road, including local dishes, tea restaurants, Korean food, Japanese food, and desserts. You can develop your own food according to your own preferences, except for the ones mentioned above. For those two stores, there is no need to queue at other places.
2. Changli Road: Located on South Changli Road in Pudong, get off at Chengshan Road of Metro Line 8 and walk for 10 minutes. It is definitely a paradise for dark cuisine. Changli’s No. 1 Fried Restaurant, Zhou Bin’s Stinky Tofu, Dawang Pot Stickers, and Octopus Meatballs are all the signatures of Changli Road. Walking in, there are also various seafood barbecues, crayfish, and grilled fish. Now there is also a new "Sangang Lane", which is mostly filled with regular catering businesses. Changli Road Night Market is very famous. You can also stop by the night market to buy some small things in the evening. If you like dark cuisine, you will definitely fall in love with Changli Road!
3. Qibao Old Street: Located in Minhang District, directly accessible from Line 9, a 15-minute walk. The whole street is full of food, including various kinds of braised food, various square cakes, stinky tofu, glutinous rice balls, white-cut mutton, Qibao Zongrou, split hoof, etc. I really like the glutinous rice balls in Qibao Old Street, and the stinky tofu in them is also good! It’s the weekend and there are too many people on holidays!
4. Shouning Road: Take Line 8 to the Great World and walk for 10 minutes. A food street named after crayfish and barbecue. Every time the crayfish season comes, the place will be overcrowded. The boss will solicit business on the roadside. Several of the most popular crayfish restaurants in Shanghai are gathered here, Xiangba Island, Haoji, Longevity Noodle House. The cost here is really not cheap, but it’s worth it if you can eat delicious crayfish.
5. Hongquan Road Korean Street: In Lao Minhang, it is best to drive there. There seems to be no subway nearby. With the hits of "The Heirs" and "My Love from the Star", this Korean street became popular instantly. It felt like being in Korea along the way, with Korean supermarkets, shops, and snack bars. There, you can eat authentic Korean barbecue, have a beer and fried chicken, and of course sit in Mango Six and have afternoon tea. The price is quite acceptable.
