Soon after birth or only a few hours after birth, newborn piglets will have tremors, some in the whole litter, and some with different clinical symptoms. Some piglets are all the same, trembling rhythmically, unable to stand up and forced to lie down. After lying on the ground, the tremor eased or stopped, and then symptoms appeared again. Some piglets will have different degrees of systemic tremor, or their heads and necks will tremble violently, so they can't eat milk accurately, or their hindquarters will tremble and they can't stand. Mild symptoms, although the whole body is trembling, but still can exercise, body temperature, pulse, breathing has no obvious changes. The disease only spreads vertically between sows and piglets, and there is no horizontal transmission between piglets. Mild cases heal themselves in hours or days, while the course of serious cases can last for several weeks. If piglets don't die for 4 ~ 5 days and can eat breast milk, the prognosis is generally good, and some sick pigs die because they can't eat breast milk.
