Hua Yan Jing (Volume 35): "The Bodhisattva lives in the right path, does not predict, does not take evil precepts, sees that his heart is upright, does not flatter, and believes in Buddhism and monks."
The Paramita Paramita Sutra (Volume 40 1-600) (Volume 5 15 < 20 Irreversible >: "Repeat, be kind! All bodhisattvas who do not turn back will achieve supreme bodhi, never stay away from the great bodhicitta, never practice a clean life, never curse evil things such as magic, medicine and divination, never curse ghosts and gods for fame and gain, never make men and women ask about their own bad luck, never forbid men and women to be big or small, live next to each other, never occupy life span, financial position, all good and evil things between men and women, and never keep track of changes in temperature. I don't respect offering sacrifices to ghosts and gods, so I say I am often a staff sergeant, not a corporal. So what? It is the Bodhisattva Mahasa, who knows that all dharmas are empty, empty and without phase, without cause or cause, away from all kinds of evil life, spells, medicine and occupation, and only seek supreme justice and bodhi, and always forgive all sentient beings. If this is the achievement of the Bodhisattva, I know that I will not turn back to the Bodhisattva. " (CBETA, T07, No.220, page 632, a2- 18)
