Cats, belonging to the feline family, carry ringworm, fleas, Toxoplasma and other parasites, and are a common pet in families around the world. The ancestors of domestic cats are speculated to be the desert cats of ancient Egypt, the Persian cats of Persia, which have been domesticated by humans for 3,500 years, but have not been completely domesticated like dogs.
General cats: round heads, short faces, five fingers on the forelimbs, four toes on the hind limbs, sharp and curved claws on the ends of the toes, the claws can be retracted, and have night vision.
Hunt other animals in ambush, and most of them can climb trees. Cats have fat pads on the bottom of their toes to prevent them from making noise when walking and to prevent rats from escaping when hunting. The claws are retracted when walking to prevent them from being blunted, and they are extended when hunting mice and climbing rocks.
The body is divided into five parts: head, neck, trunk, limbs and tail. Most parts are covered with hair, and a few are hairless cats. Cats have five digits on their forelimbs and four digits on their hind limbs. Cat's teeth are divided into incisors, canines and molars. The canine teeth are particularly developed and sharp as cones, suitable for killing captured rodents. The chewing surfaces of the molars have sharp protrusions, suitable for chewing meat; the incisors are underdeveloped.
