Introduction to Kangxi Dictionary:
Kangxi Dictionary is a large-scale Chinese character book compiled by Emperor Kangxi at his behest, written by more than 3 famous scholars such as Zhang Yushu and Chen Tingjing, and published by Zhonghua Book Company in 1716.
The dictionary adopts radical classification and arranges words according to strokes. The dictionary is divided into twelve episodes, marked by twelve earthly branches. Each episode is divided into three volumes: upper volume, middle volume and lower volume. The vowel table and its corresponding Chinese characters are arranged according to vowels, tones and syllables. * * contains 47,35 Chinese characters.

At the beginning, he was named Jing, because he had the same name in the same subject, so the court added the word "Ting" to him and changed it to Ting Jing. Chen Tingjing's life is studious, and he is extremely prepared for poetry, literature and music.
His poetic style is elegant and mellow, which is highly appreciated by Emperor Kangxi. Zhang Yushu (1642-1711) was born in Dantu, Jiangsu Province (now Zhenjiang, Jiangsu Province). Born in the 15th year of Emperor Chongzhen of Ming Dynasty, he died in the 5th year of Emperor Kangxi of Qing Dynasty at the age of 7. Zhang Jiuzheng's second son and his eldest brother are Zhang Yucai.
