There are two basic postures for writing, one is sitting and writing, and the other is standing.
Sitting posture, this is the most common writing posture, especially for beginners, who usually write sitting down. It requires a correct posture, the chest is about 15 cm away from the edge of the table, the head is square, the shoulders are square, and the arms are fully open. The head is looking down at the place where the pen is being used, and the attention is focused on the pen tip. The line of sight is at a 45° angle to the pen tip, making it easy to see whether the writing is accurate or not. This will ensure that the handwriting is correct without damaging your eyesight. The shoulders should be level so that the body can sit upright, and the waist should be straightened to keep the chest away from the table, keeping the spirit high and conducive to breathing and luck. Open your arms, press the paper with your left hand, and hold the pen with your right hand. Keep your feet flat and steady to maintain balance and stability, so that you can write horizontally and vertically, and you can also let go when writing.
In general, larger characters need to be written. The paper is placed on the table and written in an upright position. There are also people who stick the paper on the wall and write on it standing up.
When writing standing up, you are required to lower your head and look straight ahead at an angle of about 45°. Your head and body must be upright, and you cannot tilt your head to the side. Keep your line of sight consistent with the direction of the paper on the table, look down on the whole, and take care of the situation. To the overall situation, it is convenient for writing and business layout. When looking down, you must bend moderately, but you should not bend too much. If you bend your body too much, you will get tired easily if you write for a long time. Only by being natural and relaxed can you write freely. You can only stand in a cantilever position, with your left hand pressing the paper or the tabletop, and your right hand holding a pen. You can read with your arm cantilevered in the air, and do not bring your elbows and wrists close to the tabletop. Otherwise, the waist will inevitably be bent and tense. The feet are naturally separated from left to right, and the distance between the two feet is approximately equal to shoulder width. The left and right feet can be appropriately staggered forward and backward, which is convenient for standing steadily and making it easier for the body to move forward and backward.
When writing on the wall from a standing position, because the words and length of the writing are too large, the paper needs to be attached to the wall for writing, or the writing should be done directly on the wall before writing against the wall. When writing, you need to look straight up, your head must be upright, and your body must be upright. Only by upright can you have the correct angle, so that you can observe the overall situation of the word frame and grasp the position of each word and line in the whole frame. Only when the whole body stretches naturally can the pen be freely released. When writing, your right arm should be kept forward at a certain curve, and your left arm should naturally hang by your side. The feet are separated into a figure-eight shape, about shoulder width apart. If the word width is too large, in order to maintain the eye level when writing, there should be stepping stones for the upper words and a slight squatting position for the lower words to ensure that the words are in the proper position.
