Basic foot positions of Dai dance:

1. Goose step. Stand with your legs upright and close together, facing the 12 o'clock direction.

2. Eight-character step. Keep your heels close together, aim your left and right toes at 11 o'clock and 1 o'clock respectively, and look straight ahead. There is also a big figure step, the heels are not close to each other, and everything else remains the same.

3. T-step. It is divided into left and right T-steps, both named after the position of the feet during the movement. Place the heel of one foot against the ankle of the other foot in a T-step.

Sitting posture in Dai dance:

Knees together, buttocks sitting lightly on the heels, being careful not to completely relax the center of gravity. The upper body is upright, the chin is slightly retracted, and the eyes are looking straight ahead with soft eyes.
